HAR-CHE provides additional research capacity when an assignment needs records or local enquiries beyond your team’s immediate reach. Work is scoped with the instructing firm and reported through its agreed reporting chain.
An instruction may involve company or mining cadastre records, a business’s claimed activities, or documents that require checking with an issuer. It may call for agreed interviews or observations at a named location.
We can undertake a defined contribution within a wider investigation, dispute, due diligence exercise or country research assignment. The scope identifies what can be obtained and what may remain inaccessible.
Findings are recorded against the questions in your brief. Each finding identifies its supporting material and distinguishes documentary evidence from source accounts and direct observation. Conflicting accounts and unresolved points are stated explicitly. We agree the report format and any supporting evidence schedule before starting. Material developments are raised during the assignment when they affect the brief or require further instruction.
Each instruction is checked for conflicts before acceptance. Confidentiality arrangements, source protection and the handling of client material are agreed with your team. We establish what identifying information is needed to complete those checks. Your firm retains its client relationship. Any contact with the end client follows your instructions. HAR-CHE holds no financial interest in the transaction or outcome being examined.
Scope and timing
Send the jurisdiction, the research questions and your deadline. We assess access and availability, then propose a written scope and timetable. Commercial terms and any field arrangements are agreed privately before work begins. Urgent requirements are considered against the work and access involved.

What this desk does not do.
We verify, and we do not broker. No introductions, no success fees, no interest in any cargo, title or counterparty we examine. No legal opinions: counsel acts on what we establish. No valuations, assay or cargo inspection. No customs clearing or logistics. Enquiries are conducted lawfully.
